A Look At The Teeth Grinding Remedies

It is seen that many people clench or grind their teeth during sleep or even during daytime, this is medically called Bruxism. The disorder can be due to many reasons but stress is largely associated with clenching teeth.

The problem is not serious but can lead to some complication in the dental health of the person suffering from it. He may loose teeth, may have a broken denture, some missed teeth or even severe headaches. Prolonged disorder can lead to loss of tooth enamel too. Chewing gums are also harmful for people with Bruxism as may lead to jaws making more clenching activity. Jaw must be relaxed before the sleep by placing a warm washcloth near the cheeks to reduce grinding during sleep.

Teeth grinding remedies also include certain biofeedback techniques that help to reduce clenching by using some visualization and relaxation exercises. These simple and easy remedial measures greatly minimize the problems of Bruxism in a person.
