The medicine watchdog in Europe announced on Friday that the benefits of Diane-35, the acne drug, also used commonly as a contraceptive, outweigh the possibility of blood clots developing in veins, when the medicine is correctly prescribed. According to a new Mayo Clinic study, children who avoid situations or objects that frighten them are more likely to develop anxiety issues in the future. This week regulators from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved a Bayer AG new drug to treat certain forms of prostate cancer that are advanced.
